The Day Centre gets an updated look

Included among the many improvements at Saint Margaret’s, were renovations to the Day Centre. The washrooms were modernized, with upgraded safety equipment and a fresh coat of paint. The coffee and tea room was also painted and new furniture was added for the Day Centre clients to enjoy.
During the nearly three months of renovations, Day Centre activities were held at CLSC René Cassin. “The Day Centre staff took every effort to ensure a continuity of social activities as well as to offer continued respite for caregivers,” says Day Centre Clinical Activities Specialist Lisa Lacasse. “They all went above and beyond what was expected of them and always maintained a team spirit - all for one and one for all approach!”
Ms. Lacasse says Day Centre clients also made the best of the situation, and were happy to return to their newly renovated facility at Saint Margaret.  “This is really their space,” Lacasse says. “The fresh paint, new furniture and clean bathrooms made the return to the Day Centre a pleasant experience for all.”
